Find Your Marshall Moment
Find Your Marshall Moment

If you’ve graduated from high school and haven’t yet enrolled in a college or university, you can apply to be a first-time freshman at Marshall. (If that doesn’t apply to you, please visit our Admissions page for other application options.)

We encourage you to discover your Marshall moment—whether it’s by exploring our campus, connecting with our Admissions team, or learning about our academic programs. When you’re ready to take the next step and apply, be sure to review the admission requirements for Marshall freshmen. We can’t wait to help you embark on this exciting journey!

Apply Now

Applying for admission to Marshall University is easy. We provide all the steps you need to complete the undergraduate admission process to apply and be admitted as a Marshall freshman.

Your first step is to review all of our freshman admission requirements, including undergraduate application deadlines, and then apply.

After you submit your completed undergraduate application, application fee, and all required freshman admission materials, we will review your file and notify you about our admission decision.

For those who qualify for admission without test scores, applications will be reviewed with an added emphasis on previous academic performance. Applicants who qualify for admission without test scores will be offered general, conditional admission to the University. By submitting test scores at a later date, applicants can then be considered for admission to the academic program of their choice, for guaranteed merit based scholarships, and for admission to the Marshall University Honors College.
