Fingerprinting

Officers are available to fingerprint applicants for various reasons (i.e., bar applicants, immigration and naturalization, security clearances, etc.). University Police provides fingerprinting service for any Marshall University student or employee for a fee of $5.00. Individuals are required to present valid government issued photo identification (driver's license, passport, US Active Duty/Retiree/Reservist Military ID card, etc.).

The individual's fingerprints will be printed on a standard Applicant Fingerprint Card (FD-258), unless another fingerprint card is provided. University Police will not submit any paperwork/fingerprint cards, nor will they provide any information as to details or the progress of any background check.
