On January 12, the Student Senate initiated the process to amend and revise the Student Government Association Constitution for the upcoming student body elections in March. Any changes to the constitution will be debated in the newly formed Constitution Committee, which will meet on Tuesdays at 5pm in the SGA Office. Some goals for the committee include:
- Revising the formatting and grammar
- Expediting student organization funding
- Fixing contradictions between written rules and current practices
- Reviewing executive by-laws
All amendments and revisions to the constitution will be completed by February 27th at 6pm. When revisions are proposed and approved by the committee, they will be displayed at the bottom of this page.
