For those students who need to take the ACT for admission, Marshall University offers
the Residual ACT, also known as the Walk-In ACT. Students do not need to pre-register
or fill out a packet in order to take the test. Anyone who ‘walks in’ can take the
test on the scheduled dates.
The Residual ACT is similar to the National ACT, in terms of format and scoring,
but the score received from the Residual ACT can only be used at Marshall or St. Mary's Schools of Nursing, Medical Imaging, and Respiratory.
Please check the schedule below for the dates, times and campus sites for the next
test date.
The test is administered on Friday and scores are available the following Monday
afternoon. These scores are not sent to the student, so if you would like to have
a copy you will need to contact Matt James at (304) 696-5816.
Note: All tests will begin at 8:00 AM
