Wireless allows you to make a computer connection to the University network without the physical restrictions of being plugged into a wall outlet. Just like with cell phones, you may encounter dead spots; therefore, you should consider your wired connection your main access to the Internet. It generally provides more bandwidth and dependability.

UCS does not recommend using a wireless connection when dealing with critical information or systems.
