Marshall University’s Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSE) program is an interdisciplinary engineering program designed for engineers in industry, government, consulting and others pursuing a professional-based graduate degree.

This program prepares our graduates for leadership roles in various engineering fields, helping them excel in roles such as project manager, engineering manager, and operations director.
Our average class size of 10-15 students allows our faculty to focus on each student.
Our faculty have industry experience, and all have some type of professional certification such as Certified Professional in Engineering Management (CPEM) and Project Management Professional (PMP.
According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, the median pay for Architectural and Engineering Managers in 2023 is $165,370 per year. Employment of architectural and engineering managers is projected to grow 4 percent from 2022 to 2032, about as fast as the average for all occupations.
