This is an exciting and busy time, so we make the process of enrolling at Marshall as easy as possible. The following will serve as your Admitted Student Checklist to complete the various tasks required to join Marshall.

Admitted Non-Degree Steps

Register for Classes

Non-degree students attending Marshall University can register for courses by accessing the student portal. For technical assistance accessing your online student account, please contact Marshall University’s IT Service Desk. For advising assistance, you can contact your academic college.When you attend Orientation, you’ll register for classes. If you are unable to attend Orientation, please contact your academic college for registration information.

Get Your Campus ID and Computing Account

Once you have completed your application, go to mymu.marshall.edu and click the “First-Time Users” link. Set up your account by following the instructions given. To obtain your campus ID, please visit the Campus ID Office website.

Secure Your Parking Permit

All Marshall students are permitted to have cars on campus. You will need to apply online for a parking permit.

Tuition & Fees

Check online for detailed information about Marshall’s tuition and fees. You’ll work with our Office of the Bursar to make your payments; we offer various options for paying tuition and fees — by check, money order, credit card, cash, and payment plans.

The MU Bookstore is your source for course materials, your Marshall gear, MU gifts for family and friends, and more. Stop by in-person or visit the MU Bookstore online to get started.
