Biography
Ashley LaRue is the Eastern Panhandle Early Childhood Behavior Support Specialist for the WV Behavior/Mental Health Technical Assistance Center. She graduated from Shepherd University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University. Ashley was a Pre-K teacher in Jefferson County for fourteen years. She worked in a variety of settings including, childcare (collaborative Universal PreK), Head Start, and school-based setting serving as an Itinerant PreK Special Education teacher. She became certified in Preschool-Special Needs in April 2024 and served as a Curriculum Specialist the last two years. Ashley has worked with students, families, and staff across a variety of settings.
