Auditions are open to any current student or incoming freshman. Males and females are welcome to be a part of the team.
The purpose of the Color Guard audition process is to determine the talent level of each candidate and of the group as a whole. The candidate’s improvement and ability to learn new material is also an important component. We encourage all interested students with color guard experience who are dedicated, passionate, and hard-working to participate in the audition process.
Each candidate will be taught a short group movement and flag combo. Combinations will contain basic technique and a variety of advanced vocabulary. Candidates will be evaluated throughout the entire audition process and will have the opportunity to perform in small and large groups.
