Biography
A 1986 graduate of Marshall University, Geoff Sheils is currently a Regional President of Summit Community Bank. A Certified Public Accountant with over 40 years of community banking experience, he started his career in 1982 as a part-time teller at First Huntington National Bank while attending Marshall and later served almost two decades as President and CEO of First Sentry Bank. A past Chairman of the West Virginia Bankers Association, Sheils also held the position of Market President for WesBanco after its acquisition of First Sentry Bank in 2018.
