Check-In & Welcome – 9:15am, Cam Henderson Center

Start your day by checking in, grabbing your swag bag, and getting your itinerary! The event officially begins at 10:00 AM with a Welcome Session celebrating the Class of 2029.

  • Breakfast for two people is included with each room
  • Hotel shuttle service is available from the Tri-State airport (HTN), but must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance

Check-in will begin in the CAM Henderson Center. Here is the address: 1817 3rd Ave, Huntington, WV 25755

Check-in begins at 9:15 a.m. but you are free to check-in any time after 9:15 am and before 10:00 am when your first event begins. We will leave check-in open for anyone running a little behind until about 10:30 a.m..

You are welcome to bring as many guests to this event as you would like.

We have events that are designed for parents AND students, some that cater to each group individually, and some that only students can attend. For the most part, parents and students are welcome to attend all events together.

Yes! We will provide a free catered lunch and provide refreshments and breakfast pastries when you arrive.

Marshall University will pay for your parking. Make sure you grab one of our green parking validation slips at check-in or at another point throughout the day to present at the end of the day when you are leaving the garage.

We offer allergy conscious options at Harless Dining hall that accommodate 7 of the 8 main allergens. If you need to eat at this location to accommodate a specific allergy, please let us know and we can provide tickets for you and your guests to experience one of our most popular dining halls.

We encourage participants to dress warmly and be prepared for potentially adverse weather conditions. Attendees will be on their feet for a majority of the day and walking outside on campus to get from event to event. Please see our list of specific recommendations below:

  • Marshall University does not provide transportation. However, many local hotels offer rides to and from the Tri-State Airport and may accommodate drop off and pick up options to Marshall University’s campus. Arrangements can be made by calling the front desk and requesting transportation at least 2 weeks before the event.

To cancel your registration, you will need to call the Office of Recruitment at 304-696-3646. A representative will help you cancel your registration and walk you through your next steps.
