Welcome to the Center for African American Students
The Center for African American Students (CAAS) is now located in East Hall Building, Room 215. The CAAS Office is open to all students and offers a pleasant and engaging environment committed to engendering the highest level of academic success. The CAAS Office is also the primary home for the Black United Students Social Club, Society of Black Scholars, the Pan African Student Association and connection site for all black Greek letter fraternities and sororities.

We the Center for African American Students (CAAS) of Marshall University, recognize the need for a united front, to innovate relationships, opportunities, and experiences among minority students. It is our desire to inspire, uplift, and transform the mindsets, lifestyles, and goals of our students, faculty, staff and the community at large.
Our Purpose
The Center for African American Students (CAAS) strives to address issues that affect the Marshall University campus, Huntington community, and issues on a global level. The Center engages minority students through activities, programming, and support that intend to enhance principles, and morale of what it means to be part of the Marshall Family.
