About Professional Development Fund
- Scholarship Application
- Requirements for submission: Resume, Letter of Recommendation (not from direct supervisor), and audio visual submission.
- Prompt: Describe a meaningful experience during your time at the Rec Center where you demonstrated leadership, teamwork, customer service, time management, and / or problem-solving skills.How did this experience contribute to your personal growth, enhance your abilities, and prepare you for future challenges?
- The scholarship submission should be in the form of a presentation that includes both visual and audio components. Submissions can take various forms, such as a video presentation, animated explainer video, short documentary, podcast with visuals, digital storytelling, or a live-action presentation. The key requirement is that your submission creatively and effectively communicates your ideas while incorporating both visual and audio elements. Remember, the presentation must not exceed 5 minutes in length.
The sacrifice you make to balance school and work does not go unnoticed. Submit your application in the spring for the Achievement of Rexcellence for your chance at winning up to $1000!

- Employees may request up to 12 passes a year, August 1-July 31.
Organizations
- Safety Team
- Work together to protect the safety of patrons and employees at the Recreation Center. This group assists with trainings, skill audits, emergency response drills and inspections to maintain a safe environment for all.

- Student Rec Leadership Council
- Student Rec Leadership Council acts as a liaison between Recreation Center part-time staff and full-time professional staff. They are responsible for employee involvement as they assist with and plan various programs such as the semester banquets, staff recognition, fund raising and social events. They also have a voice in topics such as staff training, uniforms and rec policies.
