Fitness Service RequestPersonal Training
Are you interested in a challenging, time-efficient workout based on your individual fitness goals? Then look no further. The Marshall Rec Center has a variety of personal trainers who will work with you to help you find your fit.
Each trainer has their own style of training and we will work with you to find the trainer that is the best fit for your needs. Please use the form below to request any of our Fitness Services (Personal Training, Fitness Assessment, Dietician Consultation, Youth Fitness Orientation or Advanced Fitness Testing) offered by the Rec Center. We will contact you with further information regarding trainers or fitness staff who are available during your preferred days and times.

Fascia Stretch Therapy
Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST™) is a complete, full-body functional mobility restoration system. Personal trainers, movement instructors and others use FST™ for assisted mobilization, stretching and corrective movement training. FST™ services will optimize performance in sports and life, as well as to enhance the body’s natural ability to heal itself and recover.
Performed by a certified Theragun® Performance Specialist, Percussive Therapy is a deep muscle treatment that delivers rapid and long vertical strokes into the muscle, causing neuromuscular response. The Theragun® delivers up to 60 pounds of force at 16mm in depth and uses 2400 pulses per minute on high and 1750 on low speed. Benefits of percussive therapy include, but are not limited to, increasing blood flow, decreasing lactic acid, releasing muscle spasms, improving range of motion, and making recovery more efficient and effective.

Fitness Assessment
A Fitness Assessment includes a series of tests that aids in determining your physical fitness level and in developing your personalized exercise program. An assessment can identify your strengths and weaknesses in relation to your physical fitness and help in setting attainable health & fitness goals. This is where GAINS begin!

Youth Fitness Orientation
To help young members ages 9-17 learn the basics of proper, effective and safe use of cardio and strength equipment, our Personal Trainers offer private equipment orientations. This complimentary service is available to all current and new youth members.
They will learn training techniques to maximize the benefits of their exercise program and review appropriate etiquette and behavior guidelines. Youth fitness orientations are available upon request. The sessions last around 30 minutes and are free to youth members. To register, please fill out this form and you will be contacted to schedule.
