Biography
Mehdi Esmaeilpour is an assistant professor in department of mechanical engineering at Marshall University. Previous to joining Marshall University, he had Research Assistant position at IIHR-Hydroscience-Engineering Laboratory, the University of Iowa. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in 2017, and completed his dissertation research in Ship Hydrodynamics Group at the University of Iowa. Dr. Esmaeilpour teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in mechanical engineering. His research interests are in the area of Computational Fluid Dynamics, multiphase flow and renewable energy.
