Lab Management

Overview

The Lab Management Graduate Certificate Program is for lab professionals, especially forensic lab managers, who want to have increased training in management topics. The need for lab management training and education has been an on-going concern. This program, with its courses in accounting, organizational behavior, marketing, supply chain, and legal/regulatory issues, provides the necessary skills and background to manage a successful lab. The experiential projects incorporates a research project on a copial expenditure purchase or a process improvement important to forensic labs.

Admission Requirements

Students must have a bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science, Biology, Chemistry, or other related degree.

Applicants should follow the admissions process described in the Graduate Catalog, or at the Graduate Admissions website at www.marshall.edu/graduate/admissions/how-to-apply-for-­admission. (Submit all materials to the Graduate Admissions Office.)
