Biography
Richard Agesa received his PhD in Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1996. He currently teaches the graduate course Managerial Economics as well as undergraduate courses such as Principles of Microeconomics. His research interests include applied micro econometrics, with specific reference to the developing economies of Africa. In 2019, his work with Jacqueline Agesa, was published in the Journal of Developing Areas. Richard is currently a committee member in the Higher Learnings Policy Commission as well as the Honors Council and the Graduate Appeals Board. He has been a reviewer for the South African Journal of Economics since 2014 and was guest speaker for the League of Women Voters-Huntington Chapter in 2008.
