Jungsu Ryu

Biography

Jungsu Ryu is an Assistant Professor of Sport Management in the Lewis College of Business Department of Marketing, MIS, and Entrepreneurship. Her research explores the intersection of sport participation, aging, and well-being, with a particular focus on the psychological and social benefits of physical activity among older adults. Her work has been published in prominent journals such as Journal of Hospitality, Leisure, Sport & Tourism Education, Journal of Leisure Research, Public Health, Journal of Applied Gerontology, Leisure Studies, Journal of Positive Psychology, and Journal of Happiness Studies. In addition to her research, she teaches a wide range of courses within the Sport Management program, including topics such as sport sociology, sport tourism, sport leadership, esports business management, and research methods.
