Transform the Region by Preparing the Next Generation of Sales and Service Leaders.

Our Mission

At the Service Wire Company Transformative Sales and Service Excellence Center, our goal is to contribute to the region’s economic development by retaining young talent and developing a forward-thinking, customer-centric workforce in the job fields – sales and service.

The Sales Center will prepare/develop sought-after salespersons for a career in sales and/or service through relevant curriculum, realistic role-play exercises, solving real-world challenges, training, and networking experiences with corporate partners.

The Sales Center will provide students with the tools to enhance their sales capabilities, such as recording equipment, computers, faculty support, access to local business professionals, etc.). The new location at the Brad D. Smith Center for Business and Innovation will:

  • Create a distraction-free space for students to focus on sales-related studies and exchange ideas to prepare for future Salespersons and leaders.
  • Provide an environment representative of the setting at a potential client or job interview site to get students more comfortable with the interview process.
  • Function as a practice area for team competitions.
  • Central location for companies supporting the Sales Center and the Business College to gather and meet with staff and students.
