On behalf of the College of Education and Professional Development (COEPD) at Marshall University and Dean Teresa Eagle, I invite you to participate in a focus group on the topics of content knowledge, skills, dispositions, and preparedness of first- and third-year completers who have graduated from the COEPD and are employed at your school. Completers graduated with initial-level certification in elementary or secondary education from the COEPD in either the 2019-20 or 2021-22 academic years.
The focus group will be held via Zoom on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 4:00 PM. Please use the form below to register for the focus group and an email will be provided to you containing the Zoom link so that you may participate.
Per the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), the accrediting agency of the COEPD, we are required to provide evidence that demonstrates that employers are satisfied with COEPD completer preparation for their assigned responsibilities (Standard R4.1). Your participation in this focus group will be kept confidential and you will not be identified in any evidence reported to CAEP or other stakeholders.
