Overview

Do you want to know more about using technology in the classroom? Are you interested in working as an instructional designer? This specialization features hands-on use of available technologies to enhance teaching and learning experiences. Instructional Technology & Learning may be completed as a Graduate Certificate or as an area of emphasis under the Master of Arts in Education. This is not a teacher licensure program.

Instructional Technology & Learning is primarily designed for classroom teachers seeking to enhance their use of technology. Participants may work in traditional K-12 classrooms or within higher education. Individuals interested in working in instructional design may also benefit from this specialization.
This specialization is available online. Two courses currently include a limited number of virtual, synchronous meetings. Distance learners may participate in this specialization.
Teacher licensure is not required to participate in Instructional Technology & Learning. This specialization does not lead to initial teacher licensure or added endorsement on an existing teaching license.
