Dean Crawford is the program manager for the College of Health Professions.  He is responsible for overseeing the four advisors which make up the COHP Student Services team. In addition to this, his administrative functions include preparing graduation lists and reviewing records of students on academic probation and suspension.

Carolyn Massie Academic Advisor in the College of Health Professions. She advises students who have been admitted into the St. Mary’s School of Nursing, Medical imaging, and Respiratory Therapy. She also completes degree evaluations and the graduation list for those programs.

Sharon Peters serves as student advisor for Communication Disorders, Social Work and Dietetics. She also processes graduation and degree evaluations for those students as well.

Kelli is the primary advisor for all Pre-Nursing students and Freshmen/Sophomore Health Science students. She prepares orientation schedules for new incoming students in pre-nursing, BSN program, Health Science, Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) and Medical Laboratory Science (MLS). She completes junior/senior evaluations and verifies graduation for the Nursing BSN program, Health Science and MLT/MLS. She works with probation students, in her assigned majors, to help guide them to good standing. She will meet with senior high school students, interested in pursuing the majors above, by appointment or email. Sam advises students in the Athletic Training, Exercise Science, and Biomechanics programs. She works with Athletic Training students until they are accepted to the Professional Master of Science in Athletic Training program. Once they are graduate students, they work with Dean Crawford. Sam is interested in and familiar with the research opportunities available in each major, so let her know if you are interested in conducting research as an undergraduate student. She is also on the editorial board for the Appalachian Student Healthcare Research Review (ASHRR) undergraduate research journal housed at Marshall. Her hobbies include music, photography, and reading.
