MU’s Minority Health Institute partners with West Virginia Bureau of Public Health to address WV health disparities

Marshall University’s Department of Public Health has established the Minority Health Institute to address health disparities and health equity among minority and underserved populations in the state of West Virginia.

The West Virginia Bureau for Public Health will collaborate with the Minority Health Institute to strategically utilize the university’s resources to help the state better deal with a myriad of health disparities, according to Dr. Anthony Woart, founder and director of the Minority Health Institute.
