Biography
Mary Kathryn Gould, EdD, RDN, LD, is a Professor of Dietetics at Marshall University. She completed her dietetic internship at University Hospitals of Cleveland and received her master’s degree in Human Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University and her doctorate degree in Leadership Studies from Marshall University. Before her career as an educator, she worked as a dietitian in the community, acute care, and long-term care settings. Her primary interests are in clinical nutrition and nutrition education. She has conducted research on preceptor training programs for supervised practice as well as weight perceptions of adolescents in an afterschool program. In addition, Dr. Gould has developed and presented nutrition education programs for employees of local and state businesses in the Tri-state area.
