Free COVID-19 testing available following Thanksgiving travel

Employees who traveled over the Thanksgiving holiday are reminded that free testing for COVID-19 is available on campus. Testing following travel and family gatherings can help detect infected individuals, including those who may have no symptoms, to keep them from infecting co-workers and to reduce the chances of further spreading the virus in our community.

The free, asymptomatic testing is offered to walk-ups on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Memorial Student Center, second floor south balcony. The university’s Office of Environmental Health and Safety recommends that holiday travelers wait until at least Wednesday to be tested to minimize the risk of a false-negative test.
