Dr. Tom Cuchta of Mathematics presents at international conference

Dr. Tom Cuchta, alongside his colleagues Dr. Jaqueline Mesquita (University of Brasilia) and Dr. Sabrina Streipert (University of Pittsburgh), organized a special session at the International Conference on Difference Equations and Applications held this year in Paris, France. The session, titled “Recent advances on time scales and its relation to difference equations”, hosted 14 speakers from around the world: Japan, Poland, Czech Republic, Portugal, Turkey, India, Russia, and Chile. During the session, Dr. Cuchta spoke on his recent joint work regarding generalized periodic functions in collaboration with Dr. Nick Wintz (Lindenwood University) and Dr. Sabrina Streipert. This year’s conference was the 29th annual conference of the International Society of Difference Equations and has previously been held in Thailand, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Germany.
