Armstead lab receives NSF funding for climate research

The Armstead laboratory has received National Science Foundation (NSF) funding for research building climate resilience capacity in the Appalachian Region. The project, led by the University of Louisville, will engage rural communities in interdisciplinary hydro-related research and technological development to gain basic knowledge of flash flooding, mitigate the impact of flash floods and improve community resilience to climate change.
