Graduate Student and NASA Solar System Ambassador Ellie White to host events at Huntington Museum of Art

Two stellar events are being held this month at the Huntington Museum of Art! NASA Solar System Ambassador and Marshall University Grad Student Ellie White will be speaking and having a Q & A session afterwards about NASA’s Europa Clipper Mission and the search for life in the Solar System. Ellie’s talk will be followed by a star party. She will also be hosting a Saturday KidsArt event with fun activities about the search for life in space. See below for more details.

Nov. 16 at 1 pm: Searching for Life in Space
Saturday KidsArt — HMA Studio 1
Learn about how scientists are searching beyond Earth for alien life through fun activities geared towards kids grades K-5. This event will be taught by NASA Solar System Ambassador Ellie White. Saturday KidsArt is free thanks to the generous sponsorship of Hoops Family Children’s Hospital.

Nov. 19 at 6:30 pm: Europa Clipper and the Search for Life on Icy Moons
Star Party and Public Talk — HMA’s Grace Rardin Doherty Auditorium and Outdoors
NASA Solar System Ambassador and Marshall University graduate student Ellie White will speak about NASA’S Europa Clipper mission and the search for life and its precursors on icy worlds in our Solar System. The lecture will be followed by a star party with opportunities to view Jupiter and other night sky objects through optical telescopes (weather permitting). Light refreshments will be provided. These events will be accessible for adults and kids of all ages.
