Environmental Science Association

Our members engage in outreach pertaining to the spread of environmental awareness. Through these endeavors we build lasting relationships with like-minded individuals and further our own understandings of our fields of interest. We are involved in community projects as well as events on campus. In addition, we also have various recreational/academic research opportunities taking place. We place emphasis on acclimating our members to the scientific instruments they may find themselves using in their prospective fields. We have a collaboration effort with OVEC, Trout Unlimited, and West Virginia Rivers to setup study/monitoring sites which are designed to hold natural gas companies accountable on proposed infrastructure routes, as well as a space in the Marshall greenhouse where we grow various flora.
