Bill Gardner, a Cyber Forensics and Security professor at Marshall University, teaches his students about the pros and cons of artificial intelligence, like the program ChatGPT. ChatGPT is an online predictive language model that can be used to answer questions and have a dialogue with. Some say it’s better than Google, while others worry it’s problematic. Gardner is currently researching how ChatGPT can be used to cheat on schoolwork.
