Oreatha Murray

Oreatha Murray serves as the Director of Recruitment for Marshall University. In her role, she oversees outreach and recruitment strategies for undergraduate students. With nearly 15 years of experience, Oreatha has witnessed significant changes in the higher education landscape. As a first-generation, non-traditional college student, she brings a unique perspective to her work, understanding the challenges faced by many individuals in the Appalachian region. Oreatha holds a master’s degree from Ohio University, a bachelor’s from Morehead State, an associate degree, and an Appalachian Studies Certification from Ashland Community and Technical College.
