Biography
Jodi Zimmerman has over 30 years of experience working in the legal field as both a paralegal and legal secretary. Before coming to Marshall in 2018 as the Office Administrator for the Office of the President, she worked in corporate defense litigation with several prominent law firms in Huntington, West Virginia. Zimmerman was named the Paralegal for the Office of General Counsel in February 2023.
Zimmerman serves as Paralegal for the Office of General Counsel & External Affairs. As the sole Paralegal, Jodi provides assistance to counsel in a wide range of areas, including but not limited to, contract management, litigation, policy development, subpoena responses, and Freedom of Information Act responses.
She was selected as a John Marshall Leadership Fellow for the 2021 cohort. She earned her Regents Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Criminal Justice/Law and History from Marshall University in 2009.
