Job Title:
Student Maintenance Assistant position
Summary:
A Student Maintenance Assistant (SMA) is a student position with a focus of providing, consistent, quality service to all members of the campus community.
Employment Period:
Duration of employment will be from Monday, May 12th to Sunday, August 17th.
Job Functions:
Perform various maintenance tasks assigned by supervisors in Housing & Residence Life, and First Year Residence Halls. Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Painting
- Moving furniture
- General landscaping and grounds keeping
- Trash Removal
- Pressure washing
- Cleaning residence hall rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Assist housekeeping, general building maintenance, and landscaping with assignments over the summer in other areas as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned
Hours per Week:
Minimum 20 hours – maximum 37.5 per week
Monday through Friday, varies (some evenings/weekends dependent upon placement)
Pay:
$10.00 per Hour
Additional benefits:
On-campus housing, available for free (must work a minimum of 30 hours per week to receive this benefit)
Housing ends August 1st, if you are not living in the Residence Halls for Fall 2025.

Interviews will be both Walk Up or people can fill out the application and sign up in advance.
