At Marshall University, our vision is to “Aim for Perfection”. The John Marshall Service Award recognizes staff that supports our vision by providing exceptional service to our students, coworkers, and the community in which we serve.
Do you know of a staff member in the Marshall University family who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide outstanding customer service? Who goes the extra mile to help out or strives to bring out the “We Are Marshall” spirit in others? If you do, please take the time to nominate him/her for the John Marshall Service Award.
Nominators should specify one or more of the following reasons to justify their nomination:
- Outstanding and sustained performance of assigned duties.
- Significant and positive impact on the University or community (identify accomplishments).
- Distinguished attendance record.
- Excellent customer service skills with colleagues and/or students.
Any classified or non-classified employee from Marshall University, Marshall University Research Corporation, or The Marshall University Foundation, Inc. may be nominated for consideration. Nominees must be non-probationary, benefits eligible employees with at least one year of continuous employment. Nominations will be accepted upon completion of the JMSA Nomination Form. Nominations can be submitted by supervisors, staff, co-workers, faculty, and students.
Monthly award winners receive a check for $100, a dining gift certificate from Sodexo, and discounts at the MU Bookstore, along with a framed certificate.
