Marshall University no longer licenses Symantec Endpoint Protection and is asking the community to uninstall the antivirus product from all personally-owned devices. These devices will receive a pop-up notification (see screenshot below). Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 clients can use Windows Defender, which will automatically enable after Symantec is uninstalled. More information on alternative antivirus products for both Windows and Macintosh devices can be found at https://www.marshall.edu/antivirus.
