Marshall University Information Technology will retire the legacy MILO service (a.k.a. Self-Service Banner 8) on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Students, faculty, and staff will continue to have access to MILO (a.k.a. Self-Service Banner 9) from the MyMU portal.
This update, originally scheduled in October, will affect students who utilize the Information Release for Proxy Access to Student Records.
Students will see a new interface when accessing the Information Release service within MILO, which allows them to give parents or guardians proxy access to their student information. Students with existing proxies will need to grant access to specific types of student information in the new system. The previously configured proxies will still exist but will not have any privileges until they are granted. Students who currently utilize this service and need to make a change, will receive additional information with instructions.
