Internships

The goal of the internship program is to help you develop professional skills in your field of study and prepare you for a career in journalism or mass communications.  Internships are a critical stepping stone between academic life and professional life. They offer a platform for individuals to gain practical knowledge, refine their skills, and make informed decisions about their future career paths. By investing time in internships, individuals position themselves for greater success in their chosen fields.

Three internship credit hours are required of all SOJMC students for graduation.
