Class of 1952
Cochran was hired at the Charleston Gazette after receiving his degree from Marshall. He served as head of The Charleston Gazette copy desk from mid 1950s to 2010 when he retired and moved to Florida. He was highly respected for his newspaper page design and editing/headline writing. He served as president of the Charleston Press Club in 1963.
