2013
Banned at the Greenville County (SC) Public Library after a patron’s teenage daughter checked it out of the library’s adult section. The teenage girl was given an adult library card which allowed her to check out adult-themed books. The head of the library system overturned an internal review committee’s decision to retain the graphic novel because the pictures gave her pause.
