Marshall University Research Corporation to Host Open House and Fall 2024 Workshops
The Marshall University Research Corporation (MURC) is excited to announce its upcoming Open House, as well as a series of workshops designed to support the university’s grant and research/creative discovery community.
MURC Open House
This Open House is an excellent opportunity for the Marshall University research/creative discovery community to learn about the wide range of services offered by MURC, meet the dedicated team behind these services, and discover how MURC can support their research and grant-seeking endeavors.

Location: 1st Floor Atrium, Applied Engineering Complex, Marshall University
Join us for the MURC Open House, where faculty, staff, and students can:
- Discover MURC’s Services: Learn about the range of services MURC offers, including internal grant opportunities, grant writing, grant reviewing services, budget development, project management and more.
- Meet the Team: Get to know the professionals who support research initiatives across Marshall University.
- Enjoy Refreshments and Prizes: Complimentary refreshments will be available, along with a chance to win a Marshall gift basket with four tickets to an upcoming Marshall Football game sponsored by Marshall Athletics.

Description: Hands-on training focused on budget development, with case studies for practical application. - Post-Award Essentials
Date: October 25, 2024

Location: Virtual
Description: Learn how to manage awarded grants, including financial and HR basics, and project management services.
