The Marshall University School of Music offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music Education in conjunction with the College of Education and Professional Development. Studies focus on musicianship, individual instrumental/vocal skills, and teaching pedagogy and methodology.
After receiving your degree in music education, you will be certified to teach music to all ages from Pre-K through adult. You will learn the tools necessary to teach music, manage a classroom, and even how to play every instrument.
