Music Minor Requirements
An audition on the primary instrument is required for admittance into the music minor program.
Classes:
2 hours – MUS 111 – Elementary Music Theory
2 hours – MUS 113 – Elementary Aural Skills
3 hours – MUS 142 – Music in Society
4 hours of applied lessons, one hour each in four different semesters
4 hours of ensemble, one hour each in four different semesters related to the applied lesson study
4 hours of electives chosen in consultation with the School Director
Total hours of music study to complete minor: 19
