Forensic Identification Association to host Women’s Expo at Pullman Square

The Marshall University Forensic Identification Association (MUFIA) will be hosting a Women’s Expo from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Pullman Square.

A Zumba class will be conducted from 11 a.m. to noon.  Later, a fashion show sponsored by Goodwill Industries of KYOVA and Dress for Success River Cities will be at 1 p.m. More than 20 local vendors and non-profit organizations will participate.

Exhibitors will include Beachbody®, Jamberry, Thirty-One, Younique, Zumba, Two Trees Jewelry, Le Vita Sana, The Crafty Warrior, Miss Priss Designs, Handmade Baubles, Branches Domestic Violence Shelter of Huntington, Contact of Huntington, Damsel in Defense, New Testament Freewill Baptist Church, Mission West Virginia, Dress for Success River Cities, MUFIA and the Marshall University Forensic Science Delta Delta Epsilon National Honor Society.

Door prizes from exhibitors as well as from Mary Kay® Cosmetics will be given away throughout the day.

MUFIA is a student organization composed of forensic science graduate students in Marshall’s nationally recognized master’s degree program.

Delta Delta Epsilon is a national honor society dedicated to recognizing and encouraging excellence in scholarship in the forensic sciences. The purpose of Delta Delta Epsilon is to advance academic achievement, advance the fields of forensic science and foster community understanding of forensic science.
