Tickets are currently on sale for the Queen of Hearts Masquerade Gala, a philanthropic event organized by Marshall University School of Pharmacy student groups to benefit the Huntington City Mission.

The gala is set for 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday, March 5, in the Don Morris Room of the Memorial Student Center on the Huntington campus, and includes dinner, music and dancing as well as a silent auction, photo booth and games of chance.

This is the second year for the formal event hosted by student organizations Phi Lambda Sigma and Marshall Student Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists.

“I’m so pleased we are able to host this event again this year,” said Jennifer C. Miller, a fourth-year pharmacy student and one of the organizers. “It’s a great way to raise money for a worthwhile organization, while at the same time offer a fantastic networking opportunity for our students.”

Ticket prices are $30 per person or $50 per couple and may be purchased by e-mailing Colleen Heffner at heffner13@marshall.edu  or Dr. Brittany Riley at warrick2@marshall.edu, or by calling 304-696-7396.
