Registration is now open for Session 2, which runs until Oct. 26, and Session 3, which will run from Oct. 30 to Dec. 7. There will be no classes scheduled during the week of Thanksgiving.
The Marshall Recreation Swim School provides quality instruction in a safe environment, according to Cindi Tscherne, assistant director of aquatics and safety at the Marshall Recreation Center.
“It is an important life skill to learn to swim and it can also be very beneficial when it comes to saving lives in the water,” Tscherne said. “Instruction is available for all ages and ability levels.”
Swim lesson times and registration information are available at www.marshallcampusrec.com. The cost for the 5-week class includes a discounted fee for members of the Rec Center at $40, and $55 for non-members. Individuals can also register at the Marshall Recreation Center Pro Shop.
