The camp is for kids in grades K-5, and cost for the week is $150 per child, with scholarships available.
The schedule is as follows:
March 25: Amazing Animal Day. Fur, feathers and scales. Learn about the diverse kingdom of animals. Students will get to meet some animal ambassadors including sugar gliders, snakes and hedgehogs.
March 26: Lego Day. Build and explore gears and pulleys, and build even more. This will be a day of multiple Lego building challenges.
March 27: Earth Day. Learn how rocks form and how to tell different rocks apart. From volcanoes to rivers, students will explore what makes up the planet and what they can do to protect it.
March 28: Ultimate Slime Day. This will be a whole morning of glorious, messy fun. Dress for the mess.
March 29: Dinosaurs Day. Be a paleontologist for a day. Discover the strange and amazing creatures that once walked our world and how scientists learn about ancient life.
The lead educator will be Marshall University paleontology graduate student Liz Lester.
Staff will be available for drop-off as early as 8:30 a.m.
