Marshall University will be closed Friday afternoon, March 27, beginning at noon, as it observes a half-day state holiday previously awarded to state employees in December 2019 by Gov. Jim Justice.
Since Marshall University was already scheduled to be closed on Christmas Eve, the university’s holiday calendar was adjusted to utilize the governor’s proclamation and observe the holiday on Friday.
Offices will close at noon and employees are required to work 3.75 hours.
