The theme for Earth Week 2023 is Invest in Our Planet. Events throughout the week will include talks, demonstrations and teach-ins; however, the main activities will take place on Wednesday, April 12, on the Memorial Student Center Plaza and Buskirk Field from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., rain or shine.
“We are excited to host daily events that will allow students, staff, faculty and community members to participate in energy use workshops, alternative transportation events, environmental service, connecting with our community food-based systems and supporting social justice,” said Amy Parsons-White, sustainability manager at Marshall University.
