The university will host Green & White Day Open House events on:
- Sept. 23
- Oct. 21
- Nov. 10 and 11
Green & White Day events provide students the opportunity to get a preview of what their Marshall Moment could look like. Events include an academic showcase to help prospective students find their academic path. Students and parents will hear from faculty, staff, students and other Marshall parents from a variety of insights related to the college experience.
While on the Huntington campus, parents and students can take part in several firsthand experiences by taking a general campus tour and attending a college experience session.
Added this year, the university will also host two new high school Green & White Day Open Houses:
- September 22
- October 20
These are open to high schools in the surrounding areas to register and bus in students. These dates are added for those students who may not get the opportunity to attend on-campus events for various reasons, but are still encouraged to find out if Marshall has what they need.
Dr. Avinandan Mukherjee is the provost and senior vice president of academic affairs. He says the expansion of Green & White Days is another opportunity for the university to welcome the prospective students to the university.
“Expanding Green & White Days is a reflection of our dedication to providing access to an exciting educational journey. It’s about creating more moments for prospective students and families to connect with our faculty, experience our beautiful campus, and envision their future home with us,” Mukherjee said.
