This partnership with Adobe signifies Marshall’s commitment to providing students and faculty with industry-leading tools to enhance digital literacy and creative skills. The new designation places Marshall among a select group of institutions worldwide dedicated to using Adobe’s powerful suite of creative applications to transform education across disciplines.
University leadership, faculty, students and special guests gathered at the event to celebrate this milestone. Through the Adobe Creative Campus program, Marshall University faculty can integrate Adobe’s Creative Cloud software into curriculum, giving students access to tools like Adobe Express. This access empowers students to develop the creative and digital skills critical to standing out in today’s competitive job market.
“We’re excited to expand our resources with this new partnership,” said Marshall University Chief Information Officer, Jodie Penrod. “Becoming an Adobe Creative Campus provides our students and faculty with innovative tools and a distinct advantage in developing the technical and creative skills required in an ever-evolving digital world.”
The Co-Lab is a vibrant space dedicated to fostering creativity, collaboration and innovation. This unique creative space brings together students, faculty and industry professionals to engage with the latest Adobe technologies, inspiring students to unleash their full creative potential.
Marshall students will be able to take courses and earn certified badges from Adobe, showing future employers that they have essential skills in communicating visually, establishing a social media presence, and understanding generative AI.
